The Liverpool Tapestry:
People, Places and Passions
This is part of the hallway flooring of the Unitarian Church in
Ullet Road. The hall there was the meeting place every second
Saturday in the month for two years, where we would spend time
stitching our 2008 tapestries, talking, laughing and making friends
over tea and biscuits. I thoroughly enjoyed it all.”
Not to be confused with the Grand National Ladies Day. More
than a little artistic licence taken here, as I am sure that when horse
racing began in 1828, there would not have been a Ladies Day. My
maiden name was McLynn – hence the subject interest.”
