The Liverpool Tapestry:
People, Places and Passions
“
Banksy’s Cat (and it is IS a cat!)* - such a striking image on the
corner of Berry Street and Duke Street, and one we pass every
time we come into the city centre. It may not be there forever,
depending on what happens to the building, but it’s worth
preserving.”
*
This work by Banksy was done for the Liverpool Biennial in 2004,
and is officially described as a giant rat.
“
This seemed an obvious choice, and I didn’t think anyone else
had thought of it (although there are now other similar pieces). A
clever logo with the city skyline included.”
