“
I was working at Bradbury House for the British Red Cross when
the Tapestry project began, and thought I would try to depict
part of the building as it was originally the Pump House for the
Brunswick Dock System, and was built in 1892.”
“
The Iron Men at Crosby were quite controversial when they were
first sited on the beach, but have now become an institution. I
thought they would look good as part of the overall Tapestry.”
