The Liverpool Tapestry:
People, Places and Passions

I attended the first meeting of the project an as I had done
some tapestry work in my younger days I thought I would
love to become involved in the work of this huge tapestry.
I completed several pieces, each one meaning something to me.
As I live near Penny Lane, this was the first piece I completed.
I go down Penny Lane each time I go to the shops.”

My father had been a tram driver on the No. 8 route,
and so I decided to show his tram as I remember it.”
